KATHMANDU: The Department of Immigration is preparing to provide English language training for its staffers deputed at Tribhuvan International Airport.

According to DoI Director General Deepak Kafle, they came up with the idea after complaints were made that its staffers lacked communication skills.

“Many civil servants do not even have basic communication skills. We need to overcome this barrier,” Kafle said. He also said that the DoI was in need of Chinese speakers as the number of visitors from China had increased in recent years.
