All of them were elected in the biennial elections to fill 13 vacant seats last month.

Singh, who is a UP minister, is away in on electioneering and may take oath at a later date.

After today's oath BJP has 20 members in the 100-member House and is still far short of the half-way mark to ensure smooth passage of bills. The SP has 56 members, BSP 9 and two.
