Prisons Commissioner further remanded

Additional Magistrate of Colombo, Ranga Dissanayake, yesterday, further remanded former Prisons Commissioner Emil Ranjith Lamahewa and Inspector of Police Narcotics Bureau Neomal Rangajeewa, arrested and remanded, in connection with the killing of 27 prisoners, at Welikada in 2012.

The remand order over extended till May 22, 2018.

Counsel Senaka Silva appeared for the aggrieved party.
