Diman Regional put the finishing touches on a perfect Mayflower Athletic Conference dual-meet season by defeating Southeastern Regional 74-62 and Bishop Connolly 93-43 in a triple dual meet on Tuesday at Southeastern Regional in Easton.

The Bengals (8-0) will compete in the MAC Championships on Thursday, back at Southeastern.

Diman held off Southeastern in taking the last two events — the 4x100 (Ed Fuentes, Jacob Faris, Javyir Stanley, Nick Demers, 44.6) and 4x400 (James Vacanti, Collin Melo, Topher Frank, Evan Vasconcellos, 3:37.0). Both were Eastern Massachusetts Division 3 qualifying times.

Curtis Melo won the mile (5:07) and his 62.2 in the 400 hurdles placed first against Southeastern and second against Connolly.

The Bengals also got wins from Demers (200, 22.8) and Fuentes (long jump, 19-10). Vacanti ran a sizzling 52.9 in the 400, good for second place.

Brockton 93, Durfee 38: At Durfee, the Hilltoppers (17 athletes available) dropped this Big 3 Conference meet.

"In every event we competed in, it was a tight meet, like 51-38," Durfee coach Corey Sleep said.

Durfee's Harold Jospeh was a double winner, taking the shot put (39-1) and discus (90-11.5). Jilson DaSilva (pole vault, 8-6) and Isaiah Morency (200, 22.9) were Durfee's other winners.

The Hilltoppers got second places from Cameron Rodgers (400 hurdles, 58.5; high jump, 5-10), Elias Robitaille (discus, 85-2.5), Javen Smith (javelin, 99-9) and Joseph Uwanogho (pole vault, 7-0).
