Police hunt convicted sex offender who allegedly removed tracking device
WA Police are hunting a convicted sex offender after he allegedly removed a device used to track him.
Patrick Lennard Narrier, 45, was last seen in Forrestfield about 6pm on Tuesday.
Police put out an alert on Wednesday morning calling for information on his whereabouts in relation to a current investigation.
But 9 News reported later on Wednesday it was understood Narrier had removed an ankle bracelet that allowed police to track him.
Reporter Michael Genovese said Narrier was on parole and had a criminal history including rape and burglary stretching back to 1993.
Narrier is described as dark skinned, about 180cm tall, solidly built with greying black hair, a moustache and short beard and brown eyes.
