Vigilance officials raid sand quarry

Officials of the Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E) Department conducted raids on an illegal sand quarry at Velatur village in G. Kondur mandal on Tuesday. They seized two earthmoving machines and 10 sand-laden tractors. In another raid, a V&E team, raided a private groundnut oil manufacturing-cum-packing unit at Gollapudi, and seized huge quantity of oil on charges of adulteration.
