A Port Orange expectant mother claimed a $750,000 prize after buying a winning Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket at a Nova Road store, officials said Monday.

Karlee Harbst, 26, of Port Orange, made a trip to Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee to claim her winnings, which she will receive in a one-time, lump-sum payment.

Harbst told Florida Lottery officials she won $100 the week before in the same scratch-off game, Gold Rush Doubler, which features a $5 million top prize for its $20 scratch-offs. She actually won the $1 million prize but will take home 75 percent because she opted to take it all at once instead of in installments. Overall odds of winning are about 1-in-3, lottery officials said.

Harbst purchased her winning ticket from the Circle K at 4036 S. Nova Road in Port Orange. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission, lottery officials said.

Harbst's Facebook page says she has one young girl and her second child is due in August. She lists her self as a cashier at Burger King.
