It didn't take long for the Quantico's central love triangle to make things awkward in the loft.
After Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) tried to kiss Alex (Priyanka Chopra) during their last mission, the two of them now have to return to normal living, you know, with his wife Shelby (Johanna Braddy). Poor Shelby is trying to make living with her husband's ex as normal as possible and pretend they are all BFFs, but her attempts to include Alex in their wedded "bliss" only makes the tension more obvious.

After Shelby's invitation for Alex to come have dinner with the married couple falls flat, Ryan tries to beg Alex to keep quiet about their almost reconnection. They are spies! Things get tense! It was reflex rather than residual feelings! Sure, buddy. He has a lot of excuses about why the almost kiss went down, but Alex isn't into the idea of lying to Shelby just to ease Ryan's conscience.
Is creating this level of drama when your jobs are literally life or death really the best decision? Of course Alex shouldn't lie for Ryan, but should she lie for the sake of the team?
