In Jammu & Kashmir, the All-Party Meeting convened by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar has ended. The meeting took place in the backdrop of rising violence in the Valley.
Ruling PDP, BJP and the main opposition National Conference, Congress, CPI(M), Peoples Democratic Front, Awami Ittehad Party, Samajwadi Party, Panthers Party were among at least 13 mainstream parties that took part in the meeting.
Yesterday, Mehbooba Mufti met Governor N.N. Vohra at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. They discussed important matters relating to counter-militancy operations, incidents of stone pelting and the death of a tourist from Tamil Nadu.
