The Hawaii volcano eruption has caused chaos across the islands as the molten lava spreads through towns and villages.
Kilauea volcano, which has been erupting for many years, experienced a massive explosion last week which has continued to affect Hawaii and forced locals out of their homes.
It is also a popular holiday destination for UK travellers, thanks to the beautiful weather and sandy beaches.
Holiday tour operators that provide holidays to the country include British Airways and Virgin holidays.

Virgin Holidays
The travel provider updated their travel warning for Hawaii on May 4.
The website states: “Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano has erupted prompting a local state of emergency.
“Currently, flights are operating in and out of Hilo Airport, and we are liaising with our customers in resort to ensure their safety.
“Virgin holidays will continue to monitor flight activity along with local restrictions for tourists.
“Should your forthcoming trip to Hawaii be affected, our Service Teams will contact you with the latest information.
“If you have any questions you can contact our Customer Service Team on 0344 557 4321 for assistance.”

The British airline has yet to update their travel warning for the area.
Passengers are advised to contact the company if they are concerned rearguing their holiday.
Co-op Travel
They have not updated their current travel news regarding Hawaii holidays.
Hawaii Airlines
The Hawaii airline has allowed passengers to change their flights if necessary free of charge.
They tweeted: “#Kilauea Travel Update: Effective immediately, guests holding tickets for travel on Hawaiian Airlines flights to/from/via Hilo (ITO) or Kona (KOA), Hawaii, on 5/3-5/13, will be permitted a one-time reservation change with waiver of change fee.”

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office updated their travel warning for the area today.
It warns: “There has been volcanic eruption on Hawaii’s Big Island and some local residents have been evacuated.
“British nationals in the area should monitor local media reports and follow the advice of local authorities, including any evacuation orders.
“To learn more about what to do before, during and after a volcano, visit the Federal Emergency Management website.”
If in the vicinity of an erupting volcano, the Red Cross has a number of tips to make sure travellers stay safe.
They warn to seek shelter indoors and avoid low-lying areas where lava ash can spread.
