SPACEX CEO Elon Musk is reportedly dating singer Grimes after the pair were pictured together on the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York last night. But who is the singer said to be dating the Tesla business magnate?

Who is singer Grimes?
Grimes is a Canadian singer-songwriter best known for her tracks Genesis and Oblivion which have received critical acclaim.
Born Claire Elise Boucher, the pop star is better known under her stage name Grimes.
The 30-year-old has released four albums to date: Geidi Primes (2010), Halfaxa (2010), Visions (2012) and Art Angels (2015).
She has been nominated for the Polaris Prize and got a nod from the Juno Awards as well as winning one gong for Electronic Album of the Year in 2012 for Visions.
Along with being a musician, Grimes is a producer, music video director and visual artist.
She is set to be releasing a new single in June this year.
Grimes’ music crosses various genres including pop, synth pop and electro-R&B, among other styles.
She has previously named a number of artists, films, books and other media as inspiration for her work and includes everything from The Godfather Part II to K-Pop to The Legend of Zelda to the Dune novels and even Britney Spears and Marilyn Manson.
Her work has been compared to stars such as including Björk, Siouxsie Sioux and Enya.
Reports started circling of Grimes dating the SpaceX business mogul Elon Musk last week.

US entertainment site Page Six reported: “A source tells us the pair met around a month ago online, of course, through a joke Musk had planned to tweet but discovered Grimes had already made, dealing with the complications of artificial intelligence.”
The publication went on to state that the pair would appear together at the Met Gala in New York.
They both arrived at the annual ball yesterday, which is a highlight of the fashion calendar, dressed for this year’s theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

Musk previously tweeted about Grimes’ music and shared her song with Janelle Monae Venus Fly.
The businessman was previously married to author Justine Wilson when they were at Queen’s University in Ontario.
The couple have five sons together and were married for eight years before getting divorced in 2008.
He went on to wed Westworld actress Talulah Riley in 2010 but later divorced in 2012.
The pair remarried in 2013 but sadly split for good in 2016.
