Guj Govt to provide land for Sainik School in Kutch

With a view to encouraging youngsters of bordering district Kutch to join army, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani offered a piece of land for Sainik School.

According to Rupani, young people in bordering villages of Gujarat should encourage joining army and for the motive ‘Sainik School’ should be there which would provide them a platform to join armed forces.

Addressing a function the Chief Minister reiterated that his Government was committed to provide maximum facilities to Jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) as well and Indian Army. Already the State Government is providing piped drinking water, state-of-the-art road network along to border, mobile phone connectivity to name few.

Rupani who laid foundation stone of Lord Hanuman temple’s renovation at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore at Bheliya Bet in the district also gifted water-coolers and air-coolers to the BSF jawans to fight against scorching heat of summer in desert of Kutch.

 It is worth mentioning that during the pick summer mercury in the area touches nearly 50 degree centigrade. It is extremely hostile situation for Jawans to perform duty in such condition.
