A.P. Bio will go for another semester at NBC. The network renewed the Glenn Howerton comedy on Tuesday for a sophomore season.
Howerton plays Jack Griffin, a Harvard professor who loses his dream job and has to relocate to his Ohio hometown to teach high school. The dark comedy also stars Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis and Mary Sohn.

A.P. Bio joins The Good Place, Superstore, Good Girls and Will & Graceon NBC's renewed comedy slate. The comedies will be joined by two new half-hour laughers announced by the network on Tuesday -- Abby's starring Natalie Morales and Neil Flynn and I Feel Bad with Sarayu Blue and Paul Adelstein.
The network has yet to weigh in on Tina Fey produced comedy Great News.
A.P. Bio airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
