Chilcott said that tourists from the United Kingdom would reach record numbers this year, while he was visiting Antalya Governor Münir Karaloğlu in his office in Antalya.
One of the local news media agency has mentioned that there has been a swift comeback in terms of visitors to this part of the world and they expect three million tourists to visit Turkey.
He feels that the main reason for U.K. tourists to visit Antalya was not only its nature or beauty as a tourist locale but also it being a safe city.
Chilcott said that he would make the best efforts to raise the number of British tourists to Turkey and the quality of their vacations in Antalya. Karaloğlu emphasized that Antalya was an essential tourist destination and their priority was to offer security for tourists.
