Christian Pulisic swap deal

Jose Mourinho will try to hijack Liverpool’s deal for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

Manchester United and Liverpool have both been tipped to sign Pulisic, whose long-term Borussia Dortmund future is shrouded in uncertainty.

However, the Daily Mirror say Mourinho is ready to gazump Jurgen Klopp by bringing Pulisic to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are primed to add to their attack. Marcus Rashford’s future is shrouded in uncertainty at present having struggled for game time. The same can be said for Anthony Martial, who has toiled.

And the Daily Mirror say United are willing to offer Martial in a bid to derail Liverpool’s plans.

The France international is wanted by Arsenal, Juventus, Chelsea and Tottenham. However, it is Dortmund who now appear likeliest to be his next destination.

When Klopp met Fekir…

Jurgen Klopp has already met with Liverpool transfer target Nabil Fekir, according to reports in France.

The Lyon playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

Arsenal missed out on Fekir in January, opting instead to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

And now with the summer transfer window fast approaching, it appears Liverpool have beaten the Gunners to the 24-year-old's signature.

According to French journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, who works for Canal Plus, Fekir has already met with Klopp ahead of a €70m (£61m) transfer.

The journalist reported via Twitter on Friday that the deal had been agreed.

And in a shock twist, Collet-Gaudin explained Chelsea had also expressed their interest.

Collet-Gaudin tweeted: “#Fekir met #Klopp, very good contacts between them. Fekir will sign at #Liverpool 70m € unless unforeseen. #Chelsea also tried his luck, without success.”

Mohamed Salah swap deal

Liverpool are reportedly willing to let Mohamed Salah join Real Madrid - if they get three Bernabeu stars in return.

The Egypt international has been tipped to quit Anfield this summer, with Real Madrid and Barcelona said to be tracking the winger.

And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Klopp has tabled a proposal to Real involving Salah.

They say Liverpool are willing to let Salah join the Spanish giants, if they get three players in return.

The Reds reportedly want Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and Mateo Kovacic in a stunning swap deal this summer.

Klopp sees Bale as a like-for-like replacement for Salah at Anfield, while Real No 1 Navas could solve Liverpool’s goalkeeper problems.

Don Balon add that Real president Florentino Perez is mulling over the Reds’ stunning offer ahead of the summer transfer window.

We’ll see how that one pans out…

Ronaldo injury update

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is 150 per cent sure that Cristiano Ronaldo will be fit to face Liverpool in the Champions League final on May 26.

The European champions' talismanic forward suffered a minor ankle sprain while scoring in the 2-2 draw with Barcelona on Sunday.

Ronaldo will miss the league matches against Sevilla on Wednesday and Celta Vigo on Saturday, but may return for the final game of the season against Villarreal on May 19.

"What is incredible is that Ronaldo is walking after 48 hours and that shows his ambition, but I'm not sure if he will be available for the Villarreal game," Zidane said.

"Everyone will be available for the final, I'm telling you, 150 percent. Everyone will be back, Cristiano, Isco and Dani Carvajal."
