Tourism Ireland is all set to lure 175,000 tourists from the country by 2025, which would be a 150% rise in comparison to 2017’s figures.
On June, the first direct flights from Ireland to Beijing and Hong Kong will start its journey which includes eight direct flights, representing around 1,700 airline seats each week.
To quote Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, “China is the largest outbound travel market in the world and one that Tourism Ireland is committed to growing over the coming years. We are confident that we are in a strong position to grow this emerging travel market in 2018 and over the coming years.”
