Actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her long-time beau Anand Ahuja today. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11 am at her aunt’s plush bungalow in Rockdale. The marriage will take place in the presence of close friends and family. The venue is decorated with flowers that are specially brought from Holland and Sweden. Only a few celebrities are expected to attend the ceremony. However, the wedding reception that is to be held in the evening is going to be a starry affair.  Yesterday, Sonam’s sangeet ceremony took place and all the pics and videos indicated that it was a rocking evening. The bride-to-be not only danced her heart out but she also grooved with the groom. Both of them looked head over heels in love.

Her mehendi ceremony took place on May 6 and Sonam looked like the happiest bride in the town. She looked drop dead gorgeous in the beautiful Indian attire. It goes without saying that her cousins left no stone unturned to make these days memorable for the lady.

After months of speculations, few days back, Anand and Kapoor family finally released a joint statement confirming the wedding. It read, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the May 8 in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”

On the professional front, Sonam will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding. The movie is all set to hit the screens on June 1.
