EPIC GAMES
Fans of the popular streaming service will soon be able to pick up new Epic Games loot.
It has now been announced that the second Fortnite Twitch Prime pack is set to be released very soon, providing new skins and loot.
For those members with an active Prime subscription, new exclusive gear will be launched later this month.
This includes the exclusive Battle Royale Trailblazer Outfit, the Battle Royale True North Back Bling, a new Freestylin’ Emote and the exclusive Battle Royale Tenderizer Pickaxe.
It should be noted that Prime customers can only claim their Twitch Prime loot on a single platform (PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One).
However, Twitch have confirmed that all your content is shared and available to use across PC/console and mobile, as long as you use the same Epic account.
It’s good news for those who play Fortnite Battle Royale on the move, however, content is not shared between Xbox One and PS4, even if you use the same Epic account.
EPIC GAMES
For those who have an active Twitch Prime account, they can link their official Epic Games account, or PSN and Xbox Live accounts, to receive the new loot.
This will all be going live on May 9, and should drop into player inventories automatically.
No time has been given to when this might happen, so it will be worth keeping an eye out when you’re playing some Battle Royale.
Prime is available to everyone with a Amazon Prime and Prime Video membership, while there are other ways to nab an account.
Away from the ad-free viewing benefits, Twitch Prime also offers subscribers the chance of unlocking exclusive in-game goodies.
Twitch Prime is now available globally, with the exception of India, China and embargoed territories.
As mentioned above, Twitch Prime includes games and in-game content, a channel subscription every 30 days at no additional cost to be used on any Partnered or Affiliate channels, ad-free viewing on Twitch, exclusive emotes, and chat badge.
For those who have an existing Amazon account, you will need to link it to your Twitch account, using the official website.
There's also the chance to start a free Amazon trial for those who haven’t already done so.
The first Fortnite Twitch Prime pack was made available to claim until early May, and included a list of exclusive content.
This included:
Exclusive Battle Royale Havoc Outfit & Back Bling: Style on friend and foe with the Havoc outfit and his Back Bling.
Exclusive Battle Royale Sub Commander Outfit & Slipstream Glider: Navigate the battlefield in the Sub Commander Outfit and Slipstream Glider.
