Cape Town - Two of Super Rugby's most exciting young flyhalves are set to clash at Newlands on Saturday when the Stormers host the Chiefs at Newlands.
It is a match that, as always, has the potential to be a high-scoring affair and a look at the two flyhalves on offer helps explain way.
In the home corner, 20-year-old Damian Willemse looks set to continue in the No 10 jersey for the Stormers.
A player with natural attacking flair, Willemse has been largely impressive for the Capetonians in 2018 and has even played himself into the Springbok conversation.
His speed, side-stepping ability, distribution skills and an educated right boot have all combined to make him one of South African rugby's brightest prospects right now, and Chiefs coach Colin Cooper agrees.
"Exciting," he responded when asked to talk about Willemse.
"He's a young man that is great for the game and the Stormers and we're looking forward to defending him."
The Chiefs, though, have one of the most dangerous attackers in world rugby pulling their strings in the form of Damian McKenzie.
Considered a fullback at international level and in the formative stages of his career, McKenzie has now made the shift to flyhalf.
"My thoughts are very clear ... that Damian is a No 10," Cooper said.
"It's going to take time ... he's a young man. He is exciting and defensively he is very strong and his kicking game is very good.
"That's his edge ... he'll back himself anywhere."
