Training of officials for Gomia bypoll begins

The Bokaro district administration on Monday began training of Government personnel roped in for by-election in Gomia at collectorate hall,Bokaro. Bokaro DC, Mirtunjay Kumar Barnawal said that all preliminary arrangement have completed. As many as 341 booths have been made in 208 government building while 16 clusters, 34 sector officers, 9 flying squads,9 statistic fly escorts  and 5,500 police personnel will be engaged for the by-election in Gomia ,

The DC said that while treating several polling booths of Gomia hyper sensitive and sensitive the Central forces will be deployed on the day of voting.

Also arrangements for Voter Verifiable paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) would be made for all polling stations. The DC informing about the arrangements being done for bye election scheduled to take place on May 28 assured about all the preparations will be completed well in time.

After holding meeting with local Bokaro officials we have identified several booths of Gomia Assembly constituency as hyper sensitive and sensitive in nature. Alongwith district police personnel we would be seeking deployment of Central forces to conduct free and fare election.
