MALTA – The Kishwaukee College horticulture department's annual plant sale will happen from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the college, 21193 Malta Rd.
The sale includes vegetables, herbs, perennials and large specialty annuals, according to a news release. There also will be pre-planted containers in a variety of sizes, hanging baskets and large bags of potting mix for sale.
Horticulture staff and students will be at the sale to help patrons and answer gardening and planting questions, along with helping patrons to pick plants based on specific needs, according to a news release.

The fall sale through the Kish horticulture department that will be held in conjunction with the college's 50th anniversary homecoming is scheduled for Sept. 15, according to the release.
