Jalvayu Vihar Club recently celebrated World Laughter Day. Dr Madan Kataria, founder of the Laughter Yoga International movement, conducted a laughter yoga session. The event saw the participation of over 400 yoga enthusiasts. Apart from the senior citizens, school kids also participated in the event. Dr Santosh Sahi, founder of Delhi Academy of Laughter Yoga, Durga Dass, founder of Delhi Laughter Club, Arun Sethi, president of the club and Neelam Wadehra, VP of the club, were also present. At the event Dr Madan talked about the importance of yoga and how laughter de-stresses and makes one cheerful. He stressed that if one wants to be happy, he/she should opt for laughter yoga. World Laughter Day souvenir.
Commander Narinder Mahajan, who was present at the event, said, “Most of the members of the group have benefitted immensely from laughter yoga. It has even helped people suffering from ailments like blood pressure, diabetes, and arthritis.”
