- Mumbai: Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE’s Nifty 50 closed flat om Tuesday, erasing early gains after stocks in Europe declined as investors braced themselves for President Donald Trump’s decision on the Iran nuclear deal. Shares opened higher led by ICICI Bank, which rose over 8%, but gains were capped by losses in capital goods and consumer durables sectors. Meanwhile, foreign investors sold shares worth Rs635.24 crore on a net basis, while domestic investors bought equities worth Rs1,037.23 crore on Monday, provisional data showed.
