Lottie "Lorja" Theresa Bedekovich, 88, of Patterson Twp., died Monday, April 30, 2018, at Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 29, 1929, in Beaver Falls, the daughter of the late Julius and Alexandria (Rogenski) Kompa. Lottie was a member of St. Monica Parish and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She liked to crochet, crossword puzzles, and needlepoint. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis John Bedekovich; two brothers, Chester and John Kompa; and three sisters, Eleanor Jansto, Jane Thompson, and Helen Palijash. Surviving are her four children, Lu Jane Bedekovich, Patterson Township; Louis (Pam) Bedekovich, Williamstown, W.Va.; Theresa (Douglas) Skowron, Sewickley; and Lorri (Bill) McBrayer, Sheridan, Wyo.; sister, Sophia Kelly, East Palestine, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bedekovich, Charleston, W.Va.; Alyssa Bedekovich, Vienna, W.Va.; Jacob Bedekovich, Williamston, W.Va.; Jared Bedekovich, Morgantown, W.Va.; Julianna Faith, Alexander Frank, and Amelia Grace Skowron, Sewickley; and Mitchell (Amy) McBrayer, Gillette, Wyo.; two great-grandchildren, Raylyn Ann McBrayer, two years old, and Colton Mitchell McBrayer, 2 months old; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauer familyfuneralhomes.com, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Parish, Chippewa. Father Kim Schreck will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
