In the past few days, Democrats in the 15th Legislative District have received mailers from a Republican asking for them to write him in on the Democratic ballot on May 15. Don’t be fooled, this is a Republican tactic designed to swindle you out of a Democratic advocate this November.
The Democrats have a write-in candidate, and her name is Terri Mitko. She was born and raised here in Beaver County. After getting her law degree from Duquesne University, Mitko has been an advocate for her Beaver County clients for 31 years. She knows how to work with people to solve real problems, and has the best for Beaver County at heart because she is, and always has been, a part of Beaver County.
She and her husband own businesses here in Beaver County, and she has dedicated her time to contributing back to the county. She currently serves on the Beaver County Bar Association Board of Governors. She is a past board member and current promoter and supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County. Prior community involvement and service also includes serving on the board of Tiny Tot Child Development Center, Girl Scout Leader of local Troop 428 and membership in the Business and Professional Women of Beaver County.
As an avid self-defense advocate, she is also a member of the Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club.
On May 15, write in Democrat Terri Mitko.
