Liverpool are set to venture into the transfer market this summer as Klopp targets a crack at Premier League glory next term.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are also set to add to their squad despite scooping the La Liga and Copa del Rey titles.
Messi is supposedly eager to see the Catalan giants rebuild so they can challenge for the Champions League next term.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon say the Argentina international has unearthed some big information about Liverpool.
The report claims that Messi has learned Klopp is eyeing a move for Jasper Cillessen.
Cillessen has struggled at Barcelona following his arrival from Ajax in 2016.
The Holland international has spent the last two years playing second fiddle to Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
But Don Balon say Liverpool are now eager to secure his signature.
Messi has also learned exactly why Klopp wants to make Cillessen his No 1.
And that is reportedly because he does not trust either Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius.

Mignolet has been at Liverpool ever since his arrival from Sunderland in 2013.
However, a parting of the ways is on the cards with the Belgium star currently out in the cold.
Karius, meanwhile, is primed to start Liverpool’s Champions League final clash with Real Madrid.
Yet the German shotstopper is still not deemed good enough for Klopp’s liking.
