Veteran leader Ranjeet Deshmukh takes complaint back

| May 9, 2018, 02:01 IST
Nagpur: Ex-minister Ranjeet Deshmukh, also former president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), reversed his complaint against son Dr Amol from Sitabuldi police station on Monday. He had filed the complaint earlier in the week over a property dispute and other internal issues.
Dr Amol, whose statement was recorded by police after TOI had published about the complaint filed by his father, also met the city police chief K Venkatesham later in the day.

In the meantime, the veteran politician opted to furnish a clarification before the Sitabuldi police stating that he had filed the complaint against his son driven merely by anger over a property-related dispute which he now intended to withdraw.
