Cape Town - Mark Williams gave one of the more unique press conferences you could ever hope to see after winning the World Snooker Championship on Monday.
The 43-year-old Welshman beat Scotland's John Higgins 18-16 in an epic final and the scenes that followed were quite remarkable.
Williams, who had thought very seriously about retiring from the sport just two months ago, had said that he would do his victory press conference naked if he won the tournament.
True to his word, a visibly embarrassed Williams rocked up at the press conference wearing nothing but a flag around his waist, which was soon removed.
"Don't get too close," he pleaded with journalists.
"Can we make this quick?"
After a roar of laughter had eventually died down, the media in attendance eventually got their questions away.
