Rautahat, May 7
With financial aid of Qatar Charity, education materials were distributed among 1,000 students of Yumanamai Secondary School in Yumanamai Rural Municipality, Rautahat, today.
The Qatar charity country director Illalavil Mohammad Abdul Ajij distributed school bags, copies and pencils among other education materials to students from poor families at a programme organised in the school today. Ajij said that they were ever ready to help poor and needy students of rural areas.
Agriculture and Urban State Minister Yogendra Yadav of Province 2 said that the initiatives taken by the Qatar charity was praiseworthy. CDO Govinda Prasad Rijal said distribution of educational materials would encourage students to learn.
School Management Committee Chairman Mohammad Maksud Ranki appealed to the Qatar Charity to help with infrastructure development and other academic activities of the school.
