Minerva’s Discover Downtown event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. May 11 in downtown Minerva.
Market Street Art Spot, 219 N. Market St., will feature the work of painter, basket-weaver and designer Ruth Koomler, refreshments and live music from Roger Romeo from 5 to 9 p.m.
Sphons CCW, 113 N. Market St.; and Simply Scarves... and Such, 111 N. Market St., will be open until 7 p.m. Simply Scarves will feature LuLaRoe leggings for $12.50 per pair and tops for $15 each. The Minerva Historical Society’s Haas Museum will be open from 6 to 8 p.m.
Treasured Sensations, 107 N. Market St., will be open until 8 p.m. and will host Rebecca Kerr, jewelry stylist from Premier Designs, from 5 to 8 p.m. The store also will feature new handmade items and Mother’s Day specials.
The Roxy Theatre, 114 N. Market St., will host a pop-up shop including Blackburn Bath & Beauty, Doterra, Kris’ $5 Bling Corner, Usborne Books and DeeLightful Stitching. Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival 50/50 raffle tickets will be for sale.
Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, 101 N. Market St., will be open until 10:30 p.m. with an extensive menu and full bar. Sandy Springs Brewing Co., 232 N. Market St., will be open until 10 p.m. with craft beers, sandwiches, flatbreads and appetizers.
A purchase at any participating location will earn customers a ticket that can be used to enter enter a basket raffle with items donated by vendors, crafters and downtown businesses. The raffle will take place at 7 p.m. at the Roxy.
