NEW DELHI: Kajaria Ceramics, a manufacturer of ceramic/vitrified tiles, reported a dip of 7% in its standalone profit after tax (PAT) for the financial year 2017-18. Its net profit during FY 18 was Rs 252.32 crore as against Rs 270.16 crore it recorded in the previous fiscal.Company's net income also slipped by 3% and stood at Rs 2651.76 crore as against Rs 2745.45 crore it had registered in FY17.
Kajaria Ceramics witnessed a drop of 7% in its net income in Q4 2018 which stood at Rs 710.27 crore. Its net profit during the said quarter was Rs 65.68 crore, a dip of 7% against the similar quarter previous year.
"We registered growth of 5% in tile volume to 20.24 MSM and 4% in revenue in Q4FY18 over the corresponding period in the previous year," it said in a media release.
The board of directors recommended the dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of face value of Re 1 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2018.
