Man 'rams police car', crashes stolen vehicle at Mt Coot-tha
A man has been arrested after he allegedly stole a vehicle, rammed a police car and crashed down an embankment at Mt Coot-tha early Tuesday morning.
The car, reported by 7 News as a silver Audi, was spotted by police travelling along Mt Coot-tha Road about 4.20am.
The car was allegedly rammed into a police car before it crashed down an embankment near Lovers Lane about 5am, police said.
Streets in Toowong and along Mt Coot-tha Road were blocked as a dog squad was called in to find the driver, 7 News reported.
A short time later police arrested a man who was transported to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
