In the run-up to the , Congress president Rahul Gandhi held a road show in Kolar while former prime minister Manmohan Singh attacked the Narendra-Modi led NDA government over “economic mismanagement”in Bengaluru on Monday. A day before, Modi had mounted an attack on Congress and said the central government was building a new India for good education, jobs and healthcare.

Karnataka goes to polls on May 12 and votes will be counted on May 15.
