The former Infosys CEO raised concerns over the need of enhancement in education on artificial intelligence
Almost nine months after resigning from Infosys as MD and CEO, Vishal Sikka has revealed his new venture. At a Silicon Valley conference last week, Sikka said he is working on an artificial intelligence (AI) venture aiming to use of technology to enhance human creativity, according to a report in The Economic Times.
Sikka was invited to deliver keynote speech at TiE Inflect conference in Silicon Valley and speaking at the event, he talked about “opportunity for AI and how it was being drowned out by the noise around the potential destruction of the workforce”.
The former Infosys CEO raised concerns over the need of enhancement in education on AI. As there were currently fewer than 2,50,000 people who could use machine learning tools, there needs to be more education on this, said Sikka.
He further shared that his venture in artificial intelligence that uses technology to enhance human creativity was in its early stages.
