allAgents, a review service, has relaunched its property portal. The site is already saying it may become agent-owned, and hopes to reach the rank of third most popular portal in the UK.
It will include the ability for agencies’ staff to link their allAgents review profiles to properties they are selling or letting - a feature the website says is commonly seen on portals in America and Australia.
The site will also only accept listings from agents with three star reviews and above - this is likely to be a swipe at Purplebricks, with which allAgents has been involved in a long running dispute, and which is currently classified as one star on the site.
allAgents’ Martin McKenzie explains: “The integration of staff profiles to our listed properties will prove a game changer in the market, particularly with the growth of online and hybrid agents. The flotation of OnTheMarket shows there’s room for more players. We can see the enormous potential of our property listings portal.”
McKenzie claims his portal will overtake OTM within 12 months.
“Other property portals will work with anyone, but we won’t accept agents with one and two-star reviews. If they want to advertise on our portal, they need to up their game. As with our reviews, the customer always comes first” he says.
