CHENNAI: Police nabbed
rowdy Rocket Raja, who is wanted in some murder and attempt to murder cases in Tirunelveli and other places, and four others from a hotel in Chennai on Monday. Police seized an unlicensed 9mm pistol from them.
T Nagar deputy commissioner of police S Aravindan got information about Raja staying in a hotel on the
Anna Salai. Police stormed into his hotel room and nabbed him and his accomplices.
They were taken to Virugambakkam police station where they were questioned.
A police officer said, “We have informed the Tirunelveli police, and a team from Nellai is coming to Chennai to question him.”
