FREEDOM — The Freedom Area School District is seeking a replacement for the president of the school board.
Jennifer Sayre was elected to a second term on the school board in 2017 but resigned this week because she will no longer be living in the district, according to Freedom Superintendent Jeff Fuller.
Anyone interested in filling the vacancy should mail or email a letter of interest to Fuller. He said the district is looking to fill the vacancy in a timely manner.
“Our hope is to review candidates and conduct interviews at our June meeting,” he said.
Whoever fills to seat will serve the remainder of Sayre’s term, which runs until November 2019. Interested applicants must live within the Freedom Area School District.
