Odisha Postal Circle awarded for revenue earning

The Odisha Postal Circle which has secured the first position in revenue earning  organised its annual circle-level “Heads of Division” conference and award ceremony here on Friday and Saturday.

On the first day, Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) Dr Santosh Kumar Kamila made a review of the business development works done by Divisional Heads in the financial year 2017-18.

The CPMG highlighting the achievements of Odisha Postal Circle informed that the circle has secured the first position in revenue earning for which he received the 1st prize from Union Minister of Communication Manoj Sinha on April 29, 2018 at Bhopal.

On the second day, Gramin Dak Sevak(GDS), MTS, Postman, System Administrator, Postmaster, Inspector, ASP were awarded for their achievements and performance. In group awards Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Cuttack city, Cuttack south, and Balasore Division were awarded for opening of highest number of post office savings accounts.

Similarly, Cuttack North, Kalahandi and Phulbani Division were awarded for earning highest post office revenue.On the occasion, farewell was extended to Postal Service Director Rajendra Prasad Gupta, who was promoted and transferred.

The conference was organised and coordinated by Business Development Assistant Director Khageswar Mallick.
