Chandigarh(Narinder Jagga): After the expansion of Punjab Cabinet, the first meeting of Council of Ministers will be held tomorrow after noon, 3 pm in Punjab Civil Secretariat. Sources told that a report on Cabinet sub-committee on sand mining will be presented in the meeting. To appoint Legislative Secretaries and Chairmen to MLAs (Without office of profit), the issue is likely to be discussed as the Captain government is trying to pacify its annoyed MLAs. Although such issue may able to take final shape after the Shahkot bye-poll after code of conduct. Cabinet is likely to discuss the transfer policy of teachers. Issue of Sports Policy and some finance issue are likely to be discussed in the meeting. Some other issues, which were to be discussed, have been postponed due to code of conduct. Sources told that 2-3 minister are likely to skip the meeting as they are annoyed with their portfolios.Annoyed MLAs get Chairmen post in Cabinet committees

Chandigarh-The Speaker of Punjab Assembly has nominated various 13 committees of the house for current year. The Chairmen, who have been nominated, of 7 committees are those who are believed annoyed Congress MLAs. Rakesh Panday ,Nathu Ram, Raj Kumar Verka, Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Parminder Singh Pinki, Ajaib Singh Bhatti and Amrik Singh Dhillon are such names who have been Chairmen for various committee for house. While 16 annoyed MLAs are also included in the committee and few of them have been included in two or more committee as member.
