The regular season is long gone, district tournaments are in the books, and the FHSAA state baseball playoffs are finally here.
Locally, five teams will embark on their postseason journey's this week, with all but district champion New Smyrna Beach starting on the road.
To see how everyone stacks up, check out the previews below:
9A REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL
Spruce Creek (18-8) at Mandarin (21-5), Tuesday 7 p.m.
The Hawks lost a 1-0 heartbreaker to Lake Mary in last Thursday's district championship, and will now have to head north for a showdown with Jacksonville-Mandarin.
The Mustangs took down Sandalwood in their district title game, and have lost just once since March 28. Mandarin has plenty of experience with the area, defeating FPC twice earlier this year and losing to University in last year's regional semifinal game.
Senior Logan Sizemore leads the Mustangs with a .449 average and 19 RBIs, while fellow senior Evan Michelson is 5-1 with a 0.53 ERA. The Hawks figure to rely on senior ace Cole Beverlin, who allowed just three hits in last week's win over DeLand.
7A REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL
Melbourne (15-10) at New Smyrna Beach (18-8), Tuesday 7 p.m.
The 'Cudas wrapped up a second straight district title last week, defeating Pine Ridge 17-2 in a game that lasted just four innings. Kirk Mattern had four hits in the rout, and leads an NSB offense that has scored 23 runs over the past 11 innings into the postseason.
Melbourne is coming off a 6-5 loss to a good Viera team that lost just seven games in the regular season. Melbourne and NSB shared a common opponent this year in Eau Gallie. The Barracudas defeated the Commodores, 2-1, back in February, while the Bulldogs lost 7-1.
Look for NSB to lean on pitchers Dylan Delucia and Logan Clayton throughout the postseason.
Pine Ridge (13-13) at Viera (19-7), Tuesday 7 p.m.
The Panthers are in the postseason for the first time since 2006, and only the fourth time in program history. Pine Ridge emerged from a muddled District 5-7A with an upset over Father Lopez last week, and will have to stay upset-minded in order to beat a Viera team that's won eight in a row.
The Hawks' offense features seven players hitting over .300, including senior Colton Farrington and junior Andrew Brait, who are both hitting over .400. Senior pitcher Jordan Kaplan sits at 8-1 on the season with a minuscule 0.87 ERA.
The Panthers will counter with a solid starter of their own in Gabriel Ramos, who earned the win in last week's game against Lopez. Ramos is also hitting .400 with nine doubles for the Panthers, while senior Xavier Rosado is hitting .388.
5A REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL
Taylor (19-7) at Nature Coast Tech (23-4), Tuesday 7 p.m.
The Wildcats are in the postseason yet again, this time in the 5A classification. Taylor defeated Lake highland Prep in nine innings last Tuesday to secure a playoff berth, but lost to Bishop Moore in Thursday's district title game.
Nature Coast Tech has been among the better teams in the state this season, losing just four times. The Sharks are power-ranked 67th in the state by MaxPreps.com and are coming off a 6-3 win over a Hernando team that beat them, 12-0, earlier this spring.
Senior Zach Funkhouser leads the Sharks with 34 hits and 10 doubles, while Miami commit Jonathan Gates has hit a staggering nine home runs and driven in 44.
For the Wildcats, junior Steven Bender is hitting .411 while freshman Brandon Neely, who claims an offer from Florida, is hitting .342 and also has a 1.88 ERA. Senior Lane Phillips is 3-0 on the mound.
2A REGIONAL SEMIFINAL
Warner Christian (16-9) at St. Andrews Episcopal (18-4), Wednesday 7 p.m.
The Eagles haven't been to the postseason since 2011 and last won a playoff game in 2002, when they reached the state semifinals. Warner Christian, led by second-year head coach Chad Hathaway, nearly pulled off the district championship last week, but lost to Mount Dora Christian, 6-4, in a back-and-forth affair.
St. Andrews will lean on a pair of seniors on offense in Matt Gustin and Kyle Schramm — both of whom are hitting north of .450 — while pitcher Brendan O'Shea has a 1.17 ERA in eight games.
For the Eagles, Noah Harsch is hitting .434 and also sports a 7-2 record on the mound with a 1.70 ERA. Freshman shortstop Zach Sager is hitting .329 with 10 stolen bases, while senior Tre Alexander is hitting .375.
