In May 1984, seniors at Worthington High School (now Thomas Worthington High School) decided to have a "litter bit of fun" before saying farewell.
Hal McIntyre, left, and Roy Black of the grounds-maintenance department had to clean up the "Senior Cut-Day" mess, which included removing toilet paper from trees and rounding up real-estate signs that had been placed on the school's front lawn.
McIntyre said the cleanup of the traditional event was "just mild this year."
