Ambaji temple receives 1kg gold for plating of spire

Palanpur: A Surat-based devotee and his family on Monday donated 1kg gold worth Rs 31 lakh for plating the spire of Ambaji temple.
S J Chawda, administrator of Shree Aarasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust at Ambaji (SAAMDTA), said, “So far, the gold plating work up to 58 feet of the total 61 feet is complete. Only 3 feet remains to be plated. While 6kg gold including 1kg that we received on Monday is lying in stock with the trust, 129kg has already been used.”
