Celia Grocott, 91, of Brighton Township, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born May 30, 1926, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Gurski. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ronald E. Grocott, Sr. in 2005; her brother, William Gurski; and her sister, Helen Wasko. She is survived by a son, Ronald E. Grocott, Jr., Beaver; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Steve Higgins, San Diego, California, and Cynthia and Scott Martin, Monaca; four grandchildren, Ronald E. Grocott, III, Katie Grocott and her fiancé Brad Fortner, Jared Martin, and Courtney Martin; and her sister, Stella Powers in Florida. There will be no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 10 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church with Father Bob Miller as celebrant. Private interment will be in Beaver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
