Woman in stable condition after stabbed in head

A woman is in a stable condition after she was stabbed in the head at Kapiti Lights shopping complex in Paraparaumu.

A woman is in a stable condition after she was stabbed in the head at a Paraparaumu shopping complex.

Police said the woman suffered minor injuries to her head as a result of the incident at Kapiti Lights, off Main Rd.

Emergency services tended to the woman about 9.30pm before she was transported to Wellington Hospital by ambulance.

Police said a man had been arrested in relation to the incident.
