Youth held for shooting GF’s intimate moments

A youth was arrested for allegedly recording intimate moments of his girlfriend (GF) with him on his mobile phone without her knowledge.

The accused was identified as Debidutt Harichandan (23) of Reba village in the Salepur area of Cuttack district.

Debidutt, who has qualified for an MBA degree, is accused of inviting his girlfriend to a lodge, having physical relationship with her and capturing their intimate moments on his mobile phone without her consent.

The Mahila Thana police arrested him following a media report published in a vernacular newspaper on Friday. The police seized the mobile phone containing the obscene video and other objectionable items from his possession. The girl’s statement was also recorded.

The girl, a graduation student, had come in contact with Debidutt in 2015 when he was pursuing his MBA degree at a private college in Bhubaneswar and staying at Bauriasahi in Tulasipur in Cuttack. Both came closer following mobile messaging and internet chatting.

Debidutt allegedly called the girl to a lodge at Badambadi and had physical relationship with her. Without knowledge of the girl, he allegedly shot the video of his intimate moments with her.
