Mary L. Deyber, 73, Lisbon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born October 18, 1944, in Beaver Falls, Pa., she was a daughter of the late George L. and Elsie E. (Kuglics) George. A graduate of Garfield Business School, Mary retired from the Columbiana County Department of Human Services in 1991. She had also worked at the Morning Journal and Crosser's Diner at one time. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting as well as spending time with her good friends and neighbors who were known as the "Golden Girls." Most importantly, she was a loving grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Dawn (Richard) Thomas and Michelle (Mark) Hall, both of Lisbon, Ohio; her grandchildren, Alec Thomas and Madison and Marshall Hall; as well as her siblings, Alexander "Butch" George of Beaver Falls, Vicki George of Rochester, and Louie (Pam) George of Beaver Falls. She was preceded in death in 2005 by her husband, John H. Deyber whom she married in 1964. The two of them shared a love for each other and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mary never missed a game. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the WEBER FUNERAL HOME, Lisbon, Ohio, with the Rev. Steven Wassie officiating. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery.
