T.N. NEET aspirant’s father dies of cardiac arrest in Kochi

The boy, however, was not aware about his father's death till the examination was over.

Krishnasamy Srinivasan who had accompanied his son Kasthoori Mahalingham K. to take the NEET examination died in Kochi on May 6. He was taken to the District General Hospital where he had died of cardiac arrest.

Mr. Krishnasamy and his son had arrived from Vilakkudi in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvarur district on May 5 and were staying at the Hotel Airlines, where Mr. Krishnasamy’s friend worked. In the morning, when Mr. Krishnasamy felt uneasy, his a friend dropped the boy at the examination centre at the Nalanda Public School in Thammanam and came back to take his friend to the hospital.

However, Mr. Krishnasamy soon died after reaching the hospital.

The boy, however, was not aware about the unfortunate event till the examination was over. Police and district administration officials accompanied the boy to the district hospital.
