KR Murthy is new MD of Power Generation company

In compliance to the CG GOVT Order KRamchandra Murthy, who earlier was executive Director  of  South Region of NTPC, has taken over the charge as MD CSPGCL on Saturday.

Immediately after having taken the charge he expressed that the faith CG Govt has shown on him  he would try to  fulfil with honesty and team work. He further said “I Shall leave no stone unturned in maintaining the image and status of CG as power hub of country, surplus power state and zero power cut state. Till now Shri OC Kapila was Director in charge of MD.

Murthy on Saturday joined the Chhattisgarh state power co  head office  Raipur as new MD Generation ,on  his arrival all officer bearers, employees, Trade unions  welcomed him ,congratulated and wished him for his successful career .Shri Murthy have 35 year of experience in INDIA’S Maharatna co NTPC. He was born in Andhra Pradesh IN THE YR 1958. He passed His SSC IN 1974 from Govt School Durg. He graduated from GEC Raipur  (now Known as NIT) in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1979. Later he joined as executive engineer Trainee in NTPC in the year  1980 as beginning of his service career.

During his service period In NTPC he was Executive Director  for the three giant Production units of singarouli(  200 Mw ), Rihand  300 MW  and Vindyachal 4760 MW. Besides he has successfully served in different capacities in Badarpur, Orraiyya, Noida, Durgapur and Talcher Thermal Power Station .
