Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding date is fixed and the couple will tie the knot on May 8. So for the big day, invitations to guest have been sent and many top Bollywood stars are expected. Although almost entire Bollywood will be present to give blessings to newly-wed couple, there are some celebrities who are not going to attend the wedding, due to work commitment.

So here are the stars who are not coming to Sonam Kapoor’s wedding

Deepika Padukone

The buzz is that Padmaavat actress is busy and she is going for Cannes. Currently the actress is in New York and on May 7 she will be attending the MET Gala, reports Mid-Day. Later, she will walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

Priyanka Chopra

The actress is busy with Quantico TV show, which has been aired on April 26. For this, Priyanka is in New York promoting Quantico on various TV shows. On May 8, when Sonam ties the knot with Anand, Priyanka will reportedly be walking the red carpet at Met Gala 2018.

Anushka Sharma- Virat Kohli

According to PinkVilla the couple is busy and have a tight schedule, a source told the online portal, “Anushka is on tight schedule post her birthday as she will be heading to the United States, in particular Alabama, with Shah Rukh for the final schedule of Aanand L. Rai’s movie, Zero. Hence, she will be missing out on Sonam’s big day. On the other hand, Virat is busy with IPL 2018 as his team Royal Challengers Bangalore have a match on May 7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.”

Katrina Kaif

Rumours are also floating that Katrina is also going to miss the big day of Sonam Kapoor, as she is the brand ambassador of the cosmetic brand L’Oréal Paris and she will be present at Cannes on that day.

However, Sonam’s Bollywood besties Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez are all set for the big day and they are going to perform a special number for the couple.
