MOHALI: A driver was killed and five others injured after a tractor-trolley veered off the road and overturned near
Kurali on Saturday.
Police said the accident took place when the labourers were going to a factory in
Chtoli village to pick up some goods. The victim was identified as
Rameshwar, who hailed from Bihar. Police said he was crushed under the weight of the vehicle. A passer-by told the village sarpanch, who informed the police about the accident.

Deepinder Singh said the driver died on the spot and other workers received minor injuries. "We have informed family member of the victim. The body has been kept in the mortuary of civil hospital, Kurali. We have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)," he said.
